Tanah Lot Temple

 Tanah Lot is the place where the Holy Temple of Hindu's staying. This is one of favorite tourist destiny, especially at 04.00-06:30 Pm, when the sun going down to the Hindia Ocean.

The historian estimate that temple build at 15th century by the priest, Nirartha, for giving sacrifices to the gods of ocean. 

The temple is one of seven sea temples around the Balinese coast. At the base of the rocky island, poisonous sea snakes are believed to guard the temple from evil spirits and intruders. A giant snake purportedly protects the temple, which was created from Nirata’s scarf when he established the island.
